  The temple celebrates every year the Wedding Festival, performs 108 conch abisheks on Kaarthikai star days, Maha Shivrathri occurring in February-March (Masi Tamil month), Agasthya Guru Day, Prasdosha days (13th day of new moon or full moon days), special pujas on each Thursday for Guru Baghwan, and Poornima pujas regularly. Nithya Kala pujas are also performed properly.  
     
 Temple's Speciality:
     
  The temple has no shrine for the Navagrahas the nine planets except one for Jupiter-Guru Bhagwan. The rate Kallala banyan tree is the holy tree of the temple. There is also a two faced Rudraksha tree. It is believed that great Siddhas and sages visit the temple invisibly. The 10 pillar Maha Mandap is built aesthetically. The temple has no sub-deities-Parivara Murthys.

 Greatness Of Temple:
     
 

The temple has no shrine for the Navagrahas the nine planets.  Lord blessed the serpent here with poison power, hence the name of Lord Anandeeswarar.  After necessary renovations, the consecration of the temple was celebrated on May 11, 2014.

 
     
  Temple History:
     
 

Sage Agasthya had worshipped in many temples and also created Shivalingas for his worship.  One such temple is of Lord Anadeeswarar temple in Tiruvallur district in Pakkam Gramam near Tirunindravur.  The temple is in a pleasant and green environment.  Epigraphic evidences show that the temple was renovated by Rajendra Chola, son of Raja Raja Chola in the year 1022.  The place was then known as Kalila Chaturvedamangalam in the Eekadu Kottam, Puliyur Nadu.
