The temple is facing north and situated behind near the Kottai Keni Kottai Mari Amman temple.  There also other deities as Sudalaimadan, Pechi Amman and flag post.  29 feet Vishwarupa Badrakali is facing east.  There are paintings in Artha Mandapa walls related to the story of the temple.

  People undertake some commitment for remedies from evil looks, from the impact of serpent planets Rahu, Ketu and Mars. They carry fire pots, walk in the fire pit, pierce their cheek in the Chithirai month festival – April-May. 
    
 Greatness Of Temple:
     
 

The Pradhyangraya Yaga performed on New Moon days at 5.00 p.m. is a great event in this temple.  Devotees bring all puja materials such as fruits, chilly, ghee, 9 varies of corns called Navadhanya, cloths and herbal plants of 408 varieties to be offered in Yagna fire.  They believe that see Amman in the flames.

 
     
  Temple History:
     
 

The worship began with a single trident.  They got the idol of Amman from an auspicious speaking Siddha.  The place is considered centuries old where Amman ruled and destroyed the demon Dindimasuran.  It is also believed that Mother Abhirami of Tirukayur Herself has come to this place as Badrakali Amman.
