	Greatness Of Temple:

	This is a small temple with Sukriva shrine only. The spring created by Sukriva is outside the temple. Just opposite is the Bay of Bengal.

	Temple History:

	Sukriva lost his wife to his brother Vali and also was driven out the kingdom. Sukriva offered his help to Lord Sri Rama to rescue Mother Sita with his monkey army. Sri Rama killed Vali to help Sukriva get his wife back. Thus Sukriva was instrumental for the death of Vali and incurred a dosha. He created a spring here and worshipped Lord Shiva and got relieved of the sin of killing his brother. The temple was built later.
