Prayers
    
  Lighting ghee lamps for Lord Rama and Mother Sita on Fridays and going around the prakara 12 times yields all welfare for the devotees. Women are blessed with Mangalya longevity. The belief is that for the removal of obstacles in business enterprises and mental depression, the devotee should light ghee lamp for Chakarathalwar on Wednesdays and Saturdays, perform archana and go round the prakara 16 times.
Those having adverse Mars effects, should light ghee lamps in Sri Anjaneya shrine, perform archana and go round the prakara 16 times. On Thursdays and Pradosha days (13th day either from New Moon or Full Moon days), the devotee worried about debt burdens should light ghee lamps to Lord Loka Narasimha, perform archanas and go round the prakara 16 times. Any prolonged disease the devotee is suffering from he/she should light ghee lamps to Garudalwar, perform archanas and go round the prakara 12 times on Tuesdays.
Devotees suffering from skin disease light ghee lamps in Sri Ramanjua shrine, perform archana and go round the prakara 12 times on Tiruvadhirai star days.

 Greatness Of Temple:
     
  The temple management is regularly conducting mass prayers (Koottu Vazhipadu) to Lord Kodandaramaswami on Punarvasu star days, to Chakkarathalwar on Chitra star days, to Sri Anjaneya on Moola star days and to Lord Vinayaka on Sankatahara Chaturthi days (Chaturthi – 4th day either from full moon or new moon days).
Daily procedures: Viswarupa darshan at 7.30 a.m., general darshan at 8.00 a.m., morning puja at 9.30 a.m., and a general puja at 10.30 a.m. are followed in the temple. Again the pujas begin at 4.30 p.m. with darshan pujas and again at 6.00 p.m. and 7.00 p.m.
 
     
  Temple History:
     
 

A community Hall was constructed by Erode Ranga Bhavanam Trust in the year 1974 to facilitate conducting marriages, religious meetings and prayers. Shrines for Siddhi Vinayaka and the Navagrahas (9 planets) were also built. The consecration was performed by Kanchi pontiff Sri Jayendra Saraswathi. Then followed the temple for Lord Sri Kodandaramaswami. The Lord, Mother Sita and Sri Lakshmana grace from the sanctum sanctorum.

Maha Samprokshanam of the temple was performed by His Holiness Srimadh Azhagia Singar Jeer, 44th pontiff of Sri Ahobil Mutt.
