KEERANUKKU ILAKKANAM UPATHESITHTHA PADALAM: Lord Parameswaran told to Devi Parvathi “Devi did you notice one thing. Our child Nakkeeran argued even against me. His service to Tamil Language is astonishing. If he is taught Grammar he will make Tamil flourish still further. But who is there to teach him grammar? We should select one such  person. What should be done? You, please suggest in this matter.” Devi Parvathi replied for that. “O” Dear, When I hear this, I am reminded of our wedding day. On that day, all the celestials came from heaven to attend it. Because of that, the north side went down and the south went up. To balance the same you sent both sage Agasthiyar and his wife Lobamuthra to south. At that time you taught grammar to Sage Agsthiyar. You may send Agasthiyar to teach grammer to Nakkeerar now. If a wish of a devotee is to be fulfilled, or of a matter has to fructify one should first go the shrine of Amman(Goddess). After informing the matter to her, one should visit Swami(God) shrine. By that time the goddess would have conveyed the message into the ears of the Lord. The devotee will go to the shrine of Swami and put the matter into the ears of the swami and will return back to home. It is the recommendation of the Goddess. It will fructify. Before he reaches his home he will get the result or the ways and means to be followed to fructify that matter.

Some children are lucky. They never put any appeal begore God. But they will  complete their duty as per schedule, without any hesitation. Even if the God delays even for some time, he will ensure that the whole benefit reaches the devotee. Nakkeerar is the second type. Even after knowing that the poem was  written  by God, he argued that there was mistake in it and took a firm stand in it. The God liked  this firmness of mind. Only those who  are firm in their stand will be able to achieve in this world. He will send the reward to him. Nakkeerar is going to get such a reward only. When Parvathi Devi reminded about Agasthiyar Lord Shiva brought him. Agasthiyar worshipped and said “O” Lord, the protector of the world, Why did you sent word for this simple person?” The Lord replied “Agasthiya You should teach the grammar which was taught by me to you. Obeying this order of the Lord, Agasthiyar along with his Lobamuthra reached Madurai town. He went to the Meenakshi amman temple and took bath in the Potramarai tank there. The water in this tank will remove all sufferings however they may be. Nakkeerar having come to know that Agasthiyar has come to teach grammar to him, came running and prostrated at his feet. He learnt the grammar. Agasthiyar allowed Nakkeerar to teach the grammar to the other learned persons. It is very clear from this, that one should teach others all the good things thatone has learned.
