Mirror darsanam: For the abishegam of Venkatesa Perumal water is brought from Aakasa Gangaidailyin three vessels. This water is used for Poojas in the morning, evening and night. During Brahmothsawam this holy water will be brought  on the back of an elephant. On all other days this will be brought by the temple employees. Abishegam will be performed for the feet of Moolavar(main deity) . Abhishegam will be performed for the small idol of Boga srinivasa Moorthi. After performing abishegam with scented oil, Tirumanjana powder,cow’s milk,honey and sandal paste the idol will be decorated well. Then Mirror will be held  before HIS face so that HE can see himself in the mirror. Then they will hold an umbrella above HIS head and he will be fanned by Saamaram. Then deeparathanai will be shown.
