In stand posture, faing north. Varaprasdhi and our prayers are answered. For getting married swayamvara archana is done for 6 week. For sale of house and lands, and buying house if we pray to Her, our desires are fulfilled.
People from various parts of India come and worship here. The administrators are advised not to seek money from anybody, but to simply accept the donations. Though rates have been fixed for poojas, we never seek money for the deity Mahalakshmi. But the offerings are coming from the baktas and the day today rituals are conducted with the money such offered.

Other genuine demands can be made and offerings according to ones convenience can be paid. recently a muslim woman donated Rs.10000/ for getting her prayers fulfilled after praying here.

தல வரலாறு:
No history details are available. However it is told that some 300 years ago, three devies came from North travancore and one devi desired to settle here. Those who offered land and temple here have left this place, but their families are now in a comfortable position.
இருப்பிடம் : From Nagercoil to Trivandrum, Kuzhithurai is in midway and plenty of buses are there in between.

Railway station is at Kuzhithurai WEST, where only passenger trains stop. Kuzhithurai is another major station where all trains stop, which is about 3 km from the temple .
