 Greatness Of Temple:

Devotees believe that worshipping Lord Perumal with Mother Lakshmi on His lap especially on Tiruvonam star days would ensure unity among the couple and that those separated earlier would be blessed with reunion.  As His very name suggests, procession deity Varada Rajar blesses the devotees with boons of their wish.  Special pujas, abisheks are dedicated to Lord and Mother on Vaikunda Ekadasi, Gokhulashtami and Saturdays of Purattasi month – September-October.   Perumal and Mother come in procession on Vaikunda Ekadasi day.
Sri Anjaneya is the target deity of virgins seeking His grace for a happy match.  Those seeking child boon, bring a cradle to the temple and tie it with a piece of a sari or a rope and swing it gently placing Lord Santhana Gopalakrishna with sweet singing.  They return home peacefully after worshipping the presiding deity.  The idol of Lord Santha Gopalakrishna in the temple is 20 cm tall
