  Temple History:

90 years ago, people of this place went on a pilgrimage to Tirupati, stayed there for a few days and were relaxing before returning to their place after happy darshan of the Lord.  They were asleep.  A woman appeared in the dream of an old man and told him that She would also accompany them, would be one among them and that Her name was Gangai Amman.
With pleasant confusion in mind, the group was returning after Perumal darshan.  They saw a brick idol on the way.  Another old man met them from the other side offered the Ganga Theertha (rare to get in those days) he had in his hand and asked them to perform abishek to the idol.
Devotees named the idol as Tirupati Gangai Amman, installed it in the temple and are continuing the pujas and worships.

Special Features:

Miracle Based: The old brick idol is installed under the ground in the sanctum sanctorum with the new idol above.
