	The temple founded by His Holiness Sadguru Sadhashiva Brahmmendrar is drawing devotees from all corners of the city and other places in the country. Sri Sadguru was born in the place called Bhagavathapuram. He is also praised as Gnancheri Gnanigal. While serving in the temple of the place, he had developed in a desire in his mind to build a temple. He succeeded in translating his desire to reality by building this temple in the year 1995 in Tiruvelichai village for Lord Pasupatheeswarar, Lord Sundara Varada Raja Perumal and Sri Anjaneya, according to Sthala p Purana – local History.
