This is a hill temple with 175 steps. 6 km far from Dindigul with road facility for
vehicles up to the temple. There are
temples for Sri Anjaneya, Lord Vinayaka and Planet Shani Bhagwan. Perumal Shrine is next. There are many trees around the temple.

History has it that there was a temple in Thadikombu for Lord
Soundararaja Perumal and a pole in Chettinaickenpatti near Kambathurai during
the period of Achutha Deveraya in AD 1500.
Since then, people are worshipping here.
Perumal Temple is at the top of the hill.
