Temple History: | |
This temple was built at the time when Maha Mari Amman was constructed in
Perungudi village. It was built for the
custodian deities. The kings built the
temple with wooden pillars and a roof.
People prayed here for security and good farm yields. The kings offered Panchaloka idols. As the building was damaged due to age, the
youths of the place collected donations and effected renovations. They are also taking efforts to build a
wedding hall.
