The Maha Mandap of the temple is spacious enough for about 100 devotees to have a peaceful darshan of Mother Muthu Mari Amman.  There are Balipeeta, Lion the Simha-the vehicle of Mother Amman and a four feet tall lamp – Kuthu Vilakku in Tamil.  Lord Vinayaka and Lord Muruga are on the right and left side of the sanctum.  Mother Gajalakshmi graces from a shrine in the west.

Mother Maha Muthu Mariamman is the Kuladevatha of the Nadar community.  That the temple is close to Thillai Natarajar on the north, Vallalar birth place Marudur in west and the visit of Sri Mushnam Boovaraga Swami for Theerthavari add more reputation to the temple.

The Kuladevatha Maha Muthu Mariamman Temple had its origin under a thatched hut and grew to the present form by the efforts of he community people collecting funds for the purpose.  Devotees come from all corners.  The last consecration was celebrated in the year 2016.
