 General Information:

Lord Adi Narayana graces from the sanctum sanctorum with His consorts Sridevi and Bhoodevi facing south.  Special pujas are performed to the Lord on new moon days.  The walls around the sanctum look graceful with the other forms of Lord Vishnu as Venugopala, Narayana, Venkatachalapathi, Narasimha and Guruvayurappa. Celebrated Vaishnavite saints Nammalvar, Acharya Ramanuja, Tirumangai Azhwar grace from their respective shrines in prakara.  On festival days, Perumal comes in procession on Sri Garudazhwar.

Devotees pray to Perumal for relief from various problems faced by them.

Thanks giving:
Devotees perform special Tirumanjanam to Lord.
 Greatness Of Temple:

Sri Anjaneya appears in two forms in the front Mandap, one carrying the Sanjeevi Hill pressing his right leg on the ground ready to fly and the other with a heroic look.  The devotee is able to worship Sri Anjaneya in three forms, a rare opportunity to devotees.

  Temple History:

Pariyur is noted for its agricultural activity.  Once, due to failure of monsoon, famine gripped the place.  People installed a small Perumal idol and prayed for rain and restoration of farm activities.  Lord responded their prayers.  People of the place later built a big temple and organized regular pujas.
