It is sabarimala ayyappan who in the name of Ayyanar is sitting at the town boundary. By staying at the town boundary and protecting  Ayyanar god should necessarily be worshipped. We should know that ayyanar is waiting for us in loneliness, wearing a dirty dress and with a lamp which was not burning for want of oil. Ayyappa Bhakthas who go to sabarimala  by spending money in thousands should first visit your ayyanar temple or any nearby area Ayyanar, and worship him by lighting a oil lamp. When you are climbing by wearing a new dress,you should buy an blue or black dress for HIM also and offer it took him. Ayyappa bhakthas who travel through Palani, Madurai, kanyakumari, tiruchendur routes should offer something within their might, to any unattended Ayyanar temples enroute. Even if we have not done it  yetAyyanar will protect us. Atleast hereafter we will give all the importance due for him who by sitting at the boundary of our town is watching all our activities and protect both us and our town.
