All devotees who visit this temple will go to the Hundiyal mandapam to make their offerings(cash,jewels etc.,) without fail. Perumal got loan from Kuberan for his marriage. Lord has promised Kuberan that he will repay his loan by collecting money from his devotees who have incurred Paapam(sin) according to the extent of their sins(Paapam) in this kaliyugam.As per that promise HE is collecting money from everyone of us. A big sized brass vessel fully covered with cloth will be kept in a small cart beyond our eye sight, in this mandapam. Once the vessel gets completely filled, it will be removed along with the cart and a new and fresh vessel will be brought in in  a cart. It will be taken to the hundiyal mandapam with full security for counting. A few devotees will be allowed inside the mandapam. These devotees should carry even a single coin. By mistake or oversight one goes inside with their own cash or jewels even that will also belong to Perumal. Some devotees stand in front of the hundiyal, remove the jewels worn by them one by one into the hundiyal. This is called “Removing the jewels by standing in front of the hundiyal vow”. In Telegu it is called “NILUVU THOPPIDI”. In Telegu the hundiyal mandapam is called “PARAKAMANI MANDAPAM”
