VARADARAJA SWAMY SANNIDHI: Beneath the temple tower of Tirupathi on the eastern side a a sannidhi is situated for Varaaraja swamy. He appears with conch and disc (sangu and chakra) and abhaya hastham. There is a belief that if we worship HIM we will get lot of wealth.
YOGA NARASIMHAR SANNIDHI: In the first prakaram on the nort east side Yoga narasimhar sanidhi is situated. He is called by the name Girija narasimha swamy. A holy bath (Tirumanjanam) is done for him on Saturdays. Narasimha Jayanthi is celebrated on Swathi Natshathra day in the Tamil month of Vaikasi.(Apr-May). One can see a stone fixed on the way when one come around the sanctum sanctoram. In this Bhakthas will write their requests with their fingers. This sannidhi was made during 15th century. The stones in this sannidhi are ever shining ones and look like polished stones.
KARUDAZHWAR SANNIDHI: Just opposite Venkatachalapathi Karudazhwar is in a sitting pose with folded hands. Big importance is given to Him. When flag is hoisted during Brahmothsawam the flag contains the image of Kardazhwar. If the prasadam offered to Him is given to children they will be ward off diseases. After the morning pooja is offered to Venkatachalapathi, Naivedyam(food offering) is offered to Parivara deities. That will be carried in a planquain(pallakku/palki). That planquain is considered part of Karudazhwar. In the Ramar medai on the way before entering sanctum sanctoram(karuvarai) Utsava karudazhwar can be seen.
RAMANUJAR SANNIDHI: On the northern side Pandara Room Ramanujar sannidhi si situated. This sannidhi is also known by the name Bhasyakara sannidhi. Ramanujar when he came to Tirumalai he established flower gardens(nandavanam). He showed special interest in getting fresh flowers daily for Perumal. He only made many special worships. His sannidhi was established during 13th century. On the entrance portion of his sannidhi one can see Images of FISH the icon of Pandya Kings.
SNAKEERTHANA PANDARA ROOM: On the western side of Ramanujar sannidhi Sankeerthana Pandara also known as Thalapagamara is situated. This is a very small room. Annamacharya and his son Pedda Tirumalachariar and grand son Chinna Tirumalchariar wrote songs on Ezhumalaiyan(Perumal). A book containing the collections of these songs(keerthanams) is kept here. Hence this room is also known by the name Sageerthana Pathugappu aria(sons protection room).During 1424 A.D Annamachariyar, his son, and grandson came to Titumalai. They have composed Lot of songs praising Perumal. Their songs are like a crown for the south Indian music(Carnatic music).
