7.1 The substances that are added in the water meant for bathing the God are 1. Paathiri poo(Trumpet flower) 2. Uthbalam, 3. Thaamarai Poo (lotus)4. Alari Poo(Oleander or Arali in tamil)
7.2 The order in which abishega substances are kept Gingili oil, Panchakavyam(acombination of cow’s urine, cow dung, cow’s milk, cow’s curd, cow’s ghee), rice flour, Nelli mulli(dry emblic myrobalan berry), Turmeric powder, Panchamirtham(a combination of Cow’s ghee, Honey, plantain fruit, jaggery, cow’smilk), Cow’s milk, cow’s milk curd, ghee, Honey, Sugarcane juice or Juice of various fruits, Tender Cocoanut water, Sandal paste and snabanam.

7:4 PANCHAKAVYAM: Cow’s dung, Cow’s urine, cow’s ghee, Cow’s milk curd, Cow’s milk combination is called Panchakavyam.
7.5 PANCHAAMIRTHAM is of two types. 1) Rasa Panchamirtham : Water in which cardamom is added is first taken. Into which one should add milk, curd, sugar(jaggery) honey are added. 2.) Pazha(fruit) panchmirtham: Mango,jack fruit and Plantain fruits are added to the above is called Pazha Panchamirtham.
7: The following fruits are good for Poojas: Pomegarnate,(Maathulai), Lime fruit, Elumochchai in tamil) Koyya(guava fruit), Plantain(Vaazhai Pazham), Nelli(Berry), Ilanthai(jujube fruit, Mango, jack fruit.
