14.1 Those who on completion of the pooja does not do prathakshinam  will acquire the full and complete benefits of that pooja. It means that he is doing the pooja only for publicity. So one should compulsorily  should do prathakshinam at the end of the pooja(On completion of the pooja).

14.2 For Lord Vinayaka; one prathakhinam
        For Lord Sooryn: Two prathakshinam
       For Lord Shiva: Three prathakshinam
      For Goddess(Ambal) and Maha Vishnu: Four prathakshinam
     For Pipal Tree(Arasa maram in tamil) tree: Seven prathakshinam
It is wrong to do prathakshinam for  Pipal tree afterNoon(mid day)
