Lord Perumal is alone in the temple (Ekantha) blessing the devotees. There is no shrine for Mother.
A marble idol of Lord Vishnu had been found from the sea about 80 years ago. The discus and the conch held by Lord usually in His right and left upper hands respectively, are on the left and right in this idol. Also the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu are sculpted around the idol.
