Lord Shiva graces in the temple as Shodasa Linga – with 16 stripes. The devotee can observe rays of Sun setting on the Lord through the horns of Balanandhi on Panguni Uthiram day between 6.00 a.m. to 7.30 a.m. in March-April. This is a linga with Navapashana power made of Suryakandha – solar magnetic stone. The 5.5 feet tall Linga is mounted on Brahamma and Vishnu Peetas majestically. | |
