Temple History: | |
|
|
|
|
Durga worshiship is elaborately described in our ancient
scriptures. Durga means a fort that
shelters and protects people from enemies.
Mother Durga protects Her devotees from any and every enemy visible or
invisible. We praise Mother Parasakthi as Durga. Mother Durga in the temple is seen sitting
on Her lion vahan, placing Her right foot on a lotus and Her palms showing
blessing mudras to devotees. Devotees
surrendering at Her feet would have no worry of any kind and shall live long
with all happiness and prosperity.
