The Maha Mandap on the western side of the temple has a capacity to accommodate 50 persons. Lord Harihara Puthran is facing west with His consorts Pooranakala and Pushpakala. Veeran is on the north side with the holy tree standing opposite. Mother Ponni Amman facing west blesses from the Mahamandap with 10 pillars. Lord Vinayaka graces from a shrine in the inner prakara facing north. People of this locality consider the deities with such respect and devotion as their Kula Devatha. The consecration of the temple took place in the year 2008. This is a very ancient temple believed to be older than 500 – 1000 years.
