People In This Place Were Living In Rough Conditions And Were Worshipping East Street Kali For Improvement Their Standard Of Living.  Suddenly, Epidemics As Cholera And Other Serious Diseases Engulfed The Area.  Praying To East Street Mariamman, People Brought A Kalasa From The Temple And Began To Pray.  Amman Became Their Custodian Deity And Solved Their Health Problems.  Then People Made Some Tax Collection Of Their Own And Built A Temple.  Now The Buildings Are With Upper Floors With Sufficient Income.  Though Many Of The Married Women Are Abroad Now, They Do Not Fail To Visit The Temple During The Festivals.

It Is Noteworthy That No Untoward Event Took Place In The Village Till Now.  People Strongly Believe That Their Amman Is Patrolling Around The Region During Nights.  Amman Also Directs The Devotees To Do This Or That To Realize Their Wishes, Say The Devotees.  The President Of The Panchayat Union Had Built The Front Mandap Of The Temple At His Own Cost.
