  It is all festive days in the temple in the months of Purattasi-September-October and Margazhi-December-January. Gokhulastami the birthday of Lord Krishna in June-July; Sri Ramanavami the birthday of Lord Sri Rama in March-April; Vaikunda Ekadasi in December-January; Masi Magam in Februrary-March, Panguni Uthiram in March-April; New Year Days; Sri Hanuman Jayanthi and Aadi Pooram in July-August are grandly celebrated in the temple. There is one festival almost in each month.

Sri Rajagopala Swami Temple at Pudupalayam is praised as the Tirupathi of Tamilnadu.  Lord graces the devotees as Tirupati Perumal in one day in the month of Purattasi-September-October.  Those having a commitment at Tirupathi fulfill it here.  Lord is also praised as the elder brother of Tirupati Perumal.  Lord Rajagopalaswami blesses the devotees with Mothers Sridevi and Bhoodevi in the sanctum sanctorum.  Mother Sengamalavalli Thayar graces from a separate shrine.  There are shrines for Nammazhwar, other Azhwars, Acharya Udayavar Sri Ramanuja, Sri Andal and Lord Sri Rama in the prakara.
