Temple History: | |
|
|
|
|
There Were Some Residents Here On The Pichavaram Road. One Pavadai Also Was Among Them With His
Family. He Lost The House When Action
Against Encroachment Was Taken Up And Was Reduced To Poverty. He Was With Frustration On The Road And Met
With A Kurava With Pigs. He Smiled And
Told Pavadai To Walk Back Where A Miracle Awaited Him. He Found A Vinayaka Idol Without Its Trunk. He Built A Small Thatched Hut, Installed The
Idol And Worshipped Him. Surprisingly, Pavadai Got A Piece Of Land From The
Government. Yoga In Tamil Means Fortune,
Hence He Named The Lord Yoga Vinayaka.
He Went To Many Places Begging Funds To Build A Temple.
While Digging The Earth, He Got Many Such Idols. Yoga Vinayaka And Vettri Vinayaka Are Protecting
The Devotees Here From All Hardships And Accidents.
