Ashta Shakthi Mandapam
The first hall that receives devotees entering through the east gateway.

Just inside the eastern entrance, the pillars of this hall carry sculptures of the eight Shakthi goddesses, which is how it takes its name. The ceiling carries painted panels of the Thiruvilaiyadal episodes. Festival processions of the goddess pass through this hall.
