Veeravasantharayar Mandapam

This section was badly damaged by fire in February 2018. The granite pillars were restored using traditional methods as part of the wider repair programme carried out under the monitoring of the Madurai bench of the Madras High Court. The fire and the litigation that followed are among the reasons the kumbabishekam was delayed for seventeen years.
